First Reform Cantor for UK

Zoë Jacobs, who recently received s’micha (cantorial ordination) from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in New York, has been leading services in her first High Holy Days as Cantor at Finchley Reform Synagogue (FRS). She recently returned to the UK to take up a full time position at the synagogue in North London and will also be coordinating Jewish music projects for the Reform Movement.

Reform Rabbi Named as Regular on BBC’s Thought for the Day

Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner, of Alyth Synagogue (North Western Reform) has become a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio 4’s Thought for the Day, joining fellow Jewish representatives Rabbi Lionel Blue and Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks.

Introducing the New RSY-Netzer Team

In August the new RSY-Netzer team took office and began to plan the coming year. RSY-Netzer has just finished an amazing summer, with the highest numbers ever on all camps, and Israel Tour numbers staying solid.  Feedback from all events has been extremely positive.

New Rabbi joins Radlett and Bushey Synagogue

At 29, Rabbi David Mitchell is one of the youngest ministers in the Movement for Reform Judaism and has just been formally appointed as Radlett and Bushey Reform Synagogue's Associate Rabbi, joining Rabbi Paul Freedman.
