Are you thinking about joining us at Chagigah: a weekend celebrating Reform Judaism? Here is the first in a series of pieces from people who attended the last weekend two years ago. Sarita Robinson is the Movement's Northern Communities Development Worker. She known across the country for her enthusiasm, good humour and passion for Reform Judaism. And here she shares her experience of attending - and organising - Chagigah for the first (but certainly not the last!) time.

Movement President becomes Leo Baeck College Professor

Leo Baeck College has announced that its Appointments Panel has bestowed the title of Professor of Modern Theology and Thought to Rabbi Dr Tony Bayfield, President of the Movement for Reform Judaism. Other faculty members have been given the following titles:Dr Jeremy Schonfield, Rabbi John D Rayner Reader in Jewish Liturgy; Dr Leslie Bash, Reader in Jewish Education; and Rabbi Sheila Shulman, Senior Lecturer in Theology and Thought.

Rocking Radlett

Radlett and Bushey Reform Synagogue was packed full of people of all ages, some dancing in the aisles on Friday night, as they hosted the local group “Friday Night Rock Service” and held a fully amplified, rock service.
