Recently our long suffering CD printer/copier died. At the same time we were on the search for a print firm do a reprint of a set of books we’ve got in PDF format.
What we found was a lovely little list of Print on Demand services which could not only save you money but make some as well.
Print on Demand allows you to upload images, text or even music (depending on the service) and sell them on-line. The PoD provider takes the order, processes the payment, prints the time and ships it. If you’ve tacked on a small commission for yourself they’ll deposit it in your account.
The upshot of all this is, you don’t need to keep any stock, manage payments or fiddle around with shipping. Also any time you like, you can upload a new PDF/image/audio without having to throw anything away.
Because the PoD provider takes a small commission from each sale, the entire service costs you nothing!
