JustGiving CEO pledges refund over upgrade kerfuffle

Many of you will already know that JustGiving website had been playing since its recent upgrade. We at the Reform Movement were not free of disruption as the failed upgrade happened to coincide with our new Movement Appeal.
Many of you will already know that the JustGiving website had been playing up since its recent upgrade. We at the Reform Movement were not free of disruption as the failed upgrade happened to coincide with our new Movement Appeal.
However there has now been some progress. The site appears to be working OK now and is able to take donations. Also JustGiving are offering a refund on some transaction fees.
I suspect we’ve lost a lot of potential donations as people couldn’t get on line. The refund seems to be a start in the right direction but I suspect it won’t come close to making up the potential loss. Our donors really need to know that all is now well at JustGiving and they can donate on-line again (or, if they prefer, they can call 020 8349 5684).
Over the past month we’ve had almost 350 visits to the 2 pages that have links to donate on them. While our fundraising team try to contact JustGiving to see what else can be done I hope all our previous visitors find the time to try and donate again!
