A Busy Summer for RSY-Netzer

PrintE-mail

It's been a busy and successful summer so far for RSY-Netzer, the Zionist Youth Movement for Reform Judaism as Josh Martin, RSY-Netzer Mazkir (chair) explains.
RSY-Netzer is the Zionist Youth Movement for Reform Judaism

With summer camps and Israel Tour underway it's a busy time for RSY-Netzer. Work building up the programmes for the summer began in April when our tour leaders and heads of camp met up to start planning. Since then the office has been a hive of activity, all culminating in what has so far been a fantastic summer.

This year we have 423 kids aged 9-15 on our summer camps with 172 leaders aged 16-23. We have 122 participants on Israel Tour who are being led by six Brits and six Israelis. We even have ten leaders aged 16-18 leading on a camp in Karmiel in Israel! That totals 739 people aged 9-23 involved in RSY-Netzer activities this summer and that’s before counting those taking part in events in their local Reform communities.

Look out for more news from our events in Israel and across the United Kingdom.
