Ambassador visits Maidenhead

The Ambassador of Israel, Ron Prossor, visited Maidenhead Synagogue in December.
Pictured is Martin Silverman, chair of Maidenhead Synagogue, thanking the Ambassador following his talk to members of the synagogue. He is flanked by Rabbi Dr. Jonathan Romain. The Ambassador spoke (prior to the recent developments in Gaza) of the changing nature of the external challenges facing Israel, especially from Iran and Syria. He also referred to domestic issues and suggested ways of involving both Israeli Arabs and ultra-Orthodox Jews in mainstream Israeli society.
