Become a Friend of Leo Baeck College
Wednesday, 29 April 2009
Leo Baeck College is Europe’s premier centre for Progressive Jewish learning. The College is unique, training rabbis and teachers for Progressive Jewish communities across the UK, Europe and worldwide, for the 21st century. Centre of ExcellenceYou can invest in the ongoing and future success of Leo Baeck College as a Centre of Excellence, which is dependent on attracting academic students of the highest calibre.
Rabbis
Over 150 graduates of the College are serving as rabbis in Progressive Jewish communities across the UK, Europe and worldwide. Rabbinic students commit themselves to a rigorous, five-year postgraduate course — and can only do so with sufficient financial support. The College also provides scholarships for training rabbis specifically from the Former Soviet Union (FSU)
Teachers
Through our Department of Jewish Education, the College reaches out to train professionals for our synagogues, schools and communities.
