PrintE-mail

Hineni, the Cardiff Reform Synagogue oral history project, was part of a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) exhibition at the Senedd - the National Assembly for Wales.
Colin Heyman and Jeff Cuthbert, Assembly Member for Caerphilly.

The exhibition highlighted a variety of projects supported by the HLF. Jenny Abramsky, Chair of Heritage Lottery UK, who has some Cardiff Jewish family connections; plus Dan Clayton-Jones, Chair of HLF Wales, Assembly Members and various other dignitaries visited the project which features stories from the lives of community members together with photographs.

Colin Heyman said: "It was the first opportunity that we have had to share the exhibition with the general public. People stopped and, attracted first by the photographs, began to read the text. Those who did were very absorbed and interested in it, and we had some good conversations as a result".
