Close Shave for Sukkat Shalom Rabbi

Rabbi Larry Becker of Sukkat Shalom Reform Synagogue in Wanstead raised £1000 for the community's Laura Brody Heating Fund by having his beard shaved.
The event, which took place on Sunday 10th July, included a special tea at the synagogue with stalls as well as the presentation of certificates to winners of the Jack Petchey Awards. You can find out more and watch a short film from the day at the Sukkat Shalom website.
