Maidenhead brunch raises £550 for Nepal victims

Daily Mail columnist and Maidenhead Synagogue member, Jeanette Kupfermann was so appalled by the human disaster in Nepal that she held a fun-raising brunch at her home for shul members and within a few hours had raised £550. The money will be sent via the special World Jewish Relief fund for Nepal.

'13': Alyth teens’ musical of the year

Every year for twenty three years Alyth (North Western Reform Synagogue) teens have delighted the community with a musical that they rehearse throughout the year and perform on the first May bank holiday weekend as the Alyth Academy of Performing Arts.

Launch of Rakefet Online

On 20 May representatives of Reform communities met at the Sternberg Centre to see a public demonstration of Rakefet Online, a synagogue management system. Melissa Wolfmann, Managing Director of Rakefet Unlimited, located in Fresno California, visited to demonstrate the first beta version of Rakefet Online.
