Movement Staff Take Action for Homeless in Barnet

Representatives of the Movement for Reform Judaism made a special delivery of food and much-needed supplies to Homeless Action in Barnet. The visit was part of the Movement's plans for Mitzvah Day, when we give our time rather than our money to help others.

Sylvia Morris, Administrator of the Reform Beit Din and Tzvia Klier from Alyth (North Western Reform Synagogue) have both been shortlisted for the annual Community Hero award from the Jewish News in partnership with Mitzvah Day.

Tzedakah Day at Sinai Synagogue - a First for Leeds

Tzedakah Day - a day of study and action took place on Sunday 13th November at Sinai Synagogue in Leeds. Voluntary organisations from the Jewish and wider community were invited to set up stalls and publicise opportunities for volunteering.

Reform Movement Supporting Jewish Life in Belarus for Mitzvah Day

Staff at the Movement's offices have presented supplies of judaica to representatives from Jewish Child's Day. The items will be sent to Belarus where they will make a real difference to the spiritual lives of Jewish people in a deprived community.
