Over 180 guests including senior representatives of the Reform, Liberal and Masorti movements attended the Kaufmann fundraising dinner on Tuesday 8th May 2012 held at the Inner Temple in the heart of London’s legal quarter.

Manchester Reform celebrates diamond jubilee

It is not only the Queen who celebrates her diamond jubilee this year!  Last Shabbat, 12th May, the Ladies' Guild of Manchester Reform Synagogue celebrated its own diamond jubilee, and enjoyed a special sermon from Rabbi Reuven Silverman.

Leo Baeck College leads three generations to ‘Jerusalem and Back’

Leo Baeck College’s Department of Jewish Education gathered 114 members of nine Reform and Liberal Communities to 'explore' Jerusalem at an event held at Menorah Synagogue. 'Jerusalem and Back', a specially commissioned short play by Debbie Freeman, proved to be a colourful and thought-provoking trigger for the day's programme.

A new light for four synagogues

In a ground-breaking move, the chairs of Middlesex New Synagogue, Kol Chai Hatch End Jewish Community, Harrow and Wembley Progressive Synagogue and Hatch End Masorti Synagogue have signed an accord which begins the process of establishing a new Reform synagogue and the sharing of premises and other resources between the four communities.
