Act now to protect pluralism in Israel

This is a monumental time for Progressive Jewry in Israel.  After seven years, the IRAC (The Israel Religious Action Center)  petition for Rabbi Miri Gold, requesting state recognition and funding for Reform and Conservative rabbis in towns around Israel was passed. For the first time in Israel's history, the state has given legitimacy to the Progressive Jewish movements in Israel.

First live streamed rabbinic ordination

The ordination this weekend of Leo Baeck College’s three new rabbis will be the first to be live streamed. The event will take place at West London Synagogue this Sunday, 1st July at 3pm.

Rabbi Nancy Morris is SWESRS - South West Essex & Settlement Reform Synagogue’s new Rabbi and will be leaving Canada to take up her position at Oaks Lane, Newbury Park, in late August/early September.
