Reform rabbis to ride in relay

Rabbi Neil Amswych and Rabbi Mark Goldsmith are preparing to take part in the Rabbi Relay Ride in June. The event is organised by Gefiltefest and the aim is for rabbis from all movements to take part in a relay ride from Lands End to John O'Groats. Rabbi Neil will be cycling the 70 miles from Barnstaple to Weston-Super-Mare on Wednesday 13th June and Rabbi Mark will be cycling the 80 miles from Leeds to Durham on Tuesday 19th June.

Times/Sternberg Active Life Award winner celebrated at 11 Downing Street

The Times/Sternberg Active Life Award winner was celebrated at a ceremony at 11 Downing Street last week. The Times/Sternberg Active Life Award was set up in 2008 by Sir Sigmund Sternberg and The Times and aims to recognise the dedication of those over the age of 70 in their work for good causes and their outstanding contributions to society.

A Jewish journey for early years practitioners

Leo Baeck College’s Department of Jewish Education recently held its annual Early Years Inset Day. It was attended by 60 early years practitioners from 7 early years Reform settings across London.
