With the London Games just 12 months away, RSY-Netzer are embracing the Olympic spirit. The dates of both the Shemesh summer camps and Israel tours in 2012 have been moved to allow young people to enjoy the excitement of the London Olympic Games.

Close Shave for Sukkat Shalom Rabbi

Rabbi Larry Becker of Sukkat Shalom Reform Synagogue in Wanstead raised £1000 for the community's Laura Brody Heating Fund by having his beard shaved.

Solar First for Reform Shul

Maidenhead Synagogue, a Reform community, has just become the first synagogue in the country to install solar panels on its roof. The cost of £20,000 was recouped immediately thanks to a combination of grants, donations and savings in energy bills.
