West London Synagogue Hosts Ground-Breaking Arab-Jewish Musical

West London Synagogue will play host to the UK premiere of a ground-breaking new production featuring 40 young Muslim and Jewish Israelis. 'Step by Step – Sauwa-Sauwa' ('togetherness' in Arabic) is a musical of hope inspired by the Broadway hit 'A Chorus Line'.

British Rabbis Get to Grips with Human Rights

Twelve Liberal and Reform rabbis and ten lay people took part in a trip to Israel and the occupied Palestinian Territories organised by British Friends of Rabbis for Human Rights last week. The purpose of the rabbis' visit was to gain a better understanding of the work of Rabbis for Human Rights (RHR) and the issues faced by both Israelis and Palestinians in their daily lives.

First Woman Rabbi to be New Convenor of Beit Din as Reform Conversions Surge

Rabbi Jackie Tabick is to be the next Convenor of Reform Judaism's Beit Din (religious court), the Movement has announced today. Rabbi Tabick will take up the position in April while continuing to serve part-time as Rabbi of her North West Surrey Synagogue congregation.
