Manchester Reform on Air with International Festival

Manchester Reform Synagogue at Jackson's Row recently hosted a series of concerts by Israeli singer Mor Karbasi. The three concerts, which attracted audiences of over 200 people, were part of the Manchester International Festival, the world's first festival of original, new work and special events which takes place biennially.

Four New Rabbis from Leo Baeck College

At its annual ordination ceremony on Sunday 3rd July at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue, Leo Baeck College ordained four new rabbis including its first Danish-born rabbi Sandra Kviat from Copenhagen. Other ordinands included Rabbi Lisa Barrett, Rabbi Anna Gerrard and Rabbi Marc Neiger who will be serving Beth Hillel congregation in Brussels.
