On Saturday 13 June 2015, Rabbi Dr Jackie Tabick celebrated 40 years in the rabbinate with a special service held at the community she grew up in, SWESRS (South West Essex and Settlement Reform synagogue) in Newbury Park.

Rabbi Paul Freedman elected as new Assembly of Rabbis Chair

Rabbi Paul Freedman has been elected as Chair of the Assembly of Reform Rabbis UK, taking over from Rabbi Sybil Sheridan. Rabbi Paul is Senior Rabbi at Radlett Reform Synagogue; a community he has served since 2004.

Sinai's intergenerational Shabbat

Rabbi Janie Grackin, storyteller, author, family life educator, professional development facilitator, storahteller was a special guest at Sinai Synagogue in Leeds for Shabbat 5-6 of June. She was invited to speak at Sinai’s monthly Chavurah supper, where she introduced the concept of intergenerational services, talking about "lowering the barriers, without lowering the bar". in order to make services accessible to all, without reducing meaning.
