To mark the occasion of Gilad’s 24th birthday (28th August) and 4 years in captivity, the Zionist Federation, on behalf of the community, is launching a badge appeal to raise awareness.

To mark the occasion of Gilad’s 24th birthday (28th August) and 4 years in captivity, The Zionist Federation, on behalf of the community, is launching a badge appeal to raise awareness. Similar to the bright yellow ribbons in Israel, the ZF are producing thousands of yellow badges, and asking the community to wear the badge to raise awareness, and show solidarity with Israel. Earlier this summer, 35 participants on RSY-Netzer's Israel Tour became the first group to meet with Noam Shalit, Gilad’s father, in Jerusalem.
