Introducing the New RSY-Netzer Team

PrintE-mail

In August the new RSY-Netzer team took office and began to plan the coming year. RSY-Netzer has just finished an amazing summer, with the highest numbers ever on all camps, and Israel Tour numbers staying solid.  Feedback from all events has been extremely positive.

Ben Jacobs (left) and Josh Martin (right)The new team are Josh Martin who grew up at Kol Chai as Mazkir and Ben Jacobs who grew up at Finchley Reform Synagogue as Rakaz Hadracha.  Both of them have grown up through RSY-Netzer and come from families who have been very involved in the Reform Movement.  Ben Jardine is staying with us as Shaliach for a second year.  They are all looking forward to their year and hoping to really make an impact.

They will be strengthening the work of previous teams and especially concentrating on the new website and their work in the Reform communities.

Alongside the full time workers based at the Sternberg Centre RSY-Netzer has two northern fieldworkers, Guy Copitch who is studying in Sheffield and Ben Abram who is studying in Manchester.  They both have exciting plans for how to engage the kids in all the northern communities on a regional level.

Community work is going to be led further by RSY-Netzer as ten Reform communities have employed RSY-Netzer leaders - read more here.  RSY-Netzer strives to serve the Reform communities in many ways – here’s to a wonderful year and lots of young people touched by RSY-Netzer magic.
