Looking for Work? Youth Leadership in Communities

PrintE-mail

The Youth Department of the Reform Movement and RSY-Netzer have been working hard over the last few years to intensify the connection between  Reform communities and RSY-Netzer. This has been successful, with some bogrim (graduates) working for communities across the country. This has resulted in record attendances at regional and national events. It has also meant that we have successfully matched up Course Hadracha madatzim (young leaders) project groups to run successful and profile raising activities in synagogues.

As communities are increasingly seeing the benefits of working closely with RSY-Netzer, the demand for madrichim (leaders) and bogrim to fill youth leader positions has increased. Ensuring there are suitable candidates to do these jobs is a very important step in our development and progression.

The vital role of RSY-Netzer Northern Project Worker is also available, to undertake crucial work with northern communities. For more information email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

If you are a student or if are returning from Shnat and have time to work part-time, approximately 12 hours a week then it is likely we will be able to help you find work. You will receive a monthly salary and possibly travel expenses. Salary will vary according to synagogue and hours worked, other stipends may also be available.  Being a madrich in a community provides a great opportunity to give back to the communities and earn whilst you study.

There are also positions that need to be filled in the following communities:

Beth Shalom - Cambridge
Bromley
Hendon Reform
Jackson's Row - Manchester
Menorah - Manchester
Radlett and Bushey
Sinai - Leeds

Wimbledon

If you are interested in working at these, or any other Reform synagogue near you, then we will help you to do this. Our Youth and Community worker supports synagogues’ youth provision and will help to link you up; contact: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
