Our Olympic chaplains

Rabbis Maurice Michaels and Deborah Kahn-Harris will be Olympic chaplains at the London Games which begin this weekend.

London 2012 ChaplainsTheir role is to minister to the spiritual needs of the Olympic family as part of the multi-faith chaplaincy team representing nine faiths.

Leo Baeck College Principal Rabbi Dr Deborah Kahn-Harris who will be based in the Olympic Village and the media centre says: "I've watched the Olympics since I was a little girl and when I heard they were coming to London I was determined to be involved. I'm delighted and feel privileged to take part."
