Purim Spiel to Hit London
Friday, 08 January 2010
This year the RSY-Netzer Purim Spiel-Off competition is being held at North Western Reform Synagogue (Alyth) at 7pm on Saturday 20th February.
Now in its fifth year, the 'Spiel' will be your chance to see our Reform kids perform in this brilliant inter-synagogue event.
Teams from across the UK will compete for the title and the chance to host next year's competition. Previous winners have included Sinai, North West Surrey and Maidenhead.
This year is hotly contested; Maidenhead youth worker Nathan Servi has claimed 'this year we have a sure fire winner'; no doubt this will stir up the flames of animosity, but will it be enough to counteract the blazing rivalry between Sinai and Alyth? Could a new, outside contender raise the heat against the old timers? Come and find out for yourself!
Tickets for the show are £5 for adults and accompanying children (under 18) go free. For tickets or more information on entering a team please contact

If you have not been to one of these exciting events before here are a few tips: bring a book, ear plugs, a flask of hot cocoa and a pillow.
RSY-Netzer and Alyth look forward to welcoming you on the 20th February.
