Rabbi Berger in Top 10

Rabbi Miriam Berger, Principal Rabbi of Finchley Reform Synagogue has been recognised as number ten in a list highlighting the next generation of community leaders in the Jewish News' '40 under 40' feature.
The entry in last week's Jewish News states: 'Miriam is regarded by the Reform Movement as one of its rising young stars and is lauded for her innovative ideas for developing the community... After just a few years in the job, Rabbi Berger has already shown herself to have a charismatic and modern voice'.
Rabbi Berger is one of six rabbis on the list which includes politicians, educators and social action professionals.
The forty were chosen by a cross-communal panel chaired by PR consultant and Jewish News columnist Ben Rich who noted that 'the cream has risen to the top'.
