Reform Movement Supporting Jewish Life in Belarus for Mitzvah Day

Staff at the Movement's offices have presented supplies of judaica to representatives from Jewish Child's Day. The items will be sent to Belarus where they will make a real difference to the spiritual lives of Jewish people in a deprived community.

The initiative is part of this year's Mitzvah Day when we give our time rather than our money to help others. Staff collected kippot, Kiddush cups, havdalah candles and many other items for the Etrog Community of Polotsk who have no access to judaica.

Joy Moss, Chairman of Jewish Child's Day and a member of West London Synagogue was presented with the items by Ben Rich, Chief Executive of the Movement for Reform Judaism and Josh Moritz, Mazkir of RSY-Netzer.
