Reform Rabbi Named as Regular on BBC’s Thought for the Day

Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner, of Alyth Synagogue (North Western Reform) has become a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio 4’s Thought for the Day, joining fellow Jewish representatives Rabbi Lionel Blue and Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks.
Thought for the Day is a daily scripted slot on the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 offering "reflections from a faith perspective on issues and people in the news", broadcast at 7.45am.
Rabbi Janner-Klausner’s next slots on the programme will be on October 22nd and November 19th. She will also appear as a panellist on BBC1’s Big Questions on Sunday October 11th, a programme on which former Chair of the Assembly of Reform Rabbis UK, Rabbi Dr. Jonathan Romain is also a regular panellist.
Rabbi Janner-Klausner commented: “It is a wonderful honour to add a progressive Jewish voice to the public sphere and I realise how precious an opportunity this is.”
